1.Peel the potatoes and cut into two pieces (If bigger potatoes are used, cut each into four pieces). Soak in water.
2.Cut the sliced beef into 1 1/2 inch ling pieces. Slice the onion. Cut the carrots in chunks.
3.Heat up the vegetable oil in the Inner Pot and then stir-fry the beef. Set aside the beef. Stir-fry the onion, the carrots and the potatoes to well-cooked.
4.Add the broth and the cooked beef back into inner pot and then bring up to boil. Continue cook with High heat for 5 minutes.
5.Add sugar and Mirin, and then reduce heat to medium. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove any scum.
6.Add both soy sauces and cook for 5 more minutes.
7.Add the green peas. Place the Pot into the Vacuum Cooker for over 30 minutes.
